When we sat down and made a list of the bands we’d love to work with Richmond Fontaine were at the top.  Willy Vlautin’s songwriting was something to behold for us; evocative and nostalgic but always in the here and now.  Their last record Thirteen Cities  had accompanied us on bus trips up and down the country and in those moments when we took the time to really absorb their music we fell in love with them.  Their music was so creative and went way, way further than the alt-county tag Uncut magazine gave them back in 2005.  Needless to say we were overjoyed when they agreed to let us put out a single and worked to make one of our most gorgeous 7’s to date.  Screenprinted and hand colouring by James Carey this is one of our proudest moments as a label.  Enjoy!
