Mi Mye - The Last 7” & Download

TA706 Ltd to 500 Copies

Mi Mye was born in the summer of 2003 in Skerray Village Hall, North Scotland when Jamie Lockhart set up an 8 track tape recorder and recorded his first batch of songs with a fiddle, a melodica, and guitar.

While Mi Mye’s early releases were more introverted, lofi affairs, The Last  is closer to the euphoric sound of the live shows that earned him his following, whilst sticking to the wry, self deprecating lyrical themes of unrequited love and confidence crises that lent his early recordings so much charm.

Projections/Luke Abbott

Muted/Repus Tekram 7”

TA705 Ltd to 300 Copies

Projections are currently Brighton's chief exponents of guitar euphoria.  Muted shows them stripping their sound back even further than usual, with a three minute burst of verse chorus verse-ness that sounds like Nirvana on Ecstacy.

Flip it over and Luke Abbott will rewire your brain with neurotic, circuit bending zeal.  If the brain is a sponge, this record will wring seratonin out of your ears!

Wakey Wakey

TACD001

The Tailors are a London based collective who spin joyous golden webs around the songs of Adam Killip. This, their debut LP draws elements from folk, garage-rock and the soulful pop of 70's AM country radio whilst mixing the outsider weirdness of bands like the Silver Jews with the country-tinged powerpop of early Wilco.
